Paragliding Pilot Course in Turkey : We specialise in Elementary and Club Pilot paragliding courses, with a good Instructor to Student ratio, making sure you have the right environment to progress quickly and safely as possible!

Our professional Instructors give you the personal tuition you require, in a calm and relaxed atmosphere, on our exclusive, all wind direction, private sites.

First you need to achieve Elementary Pilot, on average 4 to 5 days and then Club Pilot, about 5 days. The days do not have to be taken consecutively and once Club Pilot you can leave the school and fly unsupervised.

ELEMENTARY PILOT COURSE LESSONS SUMMARY IN TURKEY 

Phase 1 - Ground Training
Introductory talk - School instructors - risk warning health/medical conditions clothing/footwear - the BHPA - pilot rating scheme.
Site assessment -
Introduction to equipment.
Avoiding/minimising injury.
Phase 2 - Ground Handling
Briefing - Checks - wind direction flare/stall.
Preparation - Checks - paragliding canopy harness helmet.
Inflation - Take-off - landing sequence practised.
Directional control - initiating turns.
Phase 3 - First Short Flights
Getting airborne - take-off with good control of airspeed, canopy and landing.
Phase 4 - Flight exercises
Eventualities briefing - to deal with the unexpected.
Commands and communications briefing.
Responsibilities briefing - student becomes the pilot-in-command.
Straight flights maintaining course and airspeed with increased height.
Introducing turns with increased height.
Completing simple flight plans with increased height.
Phase 5 Theory lessons and examination.
Meteorology.
Principles of flight.
Rules of the air and air law.
Elementary examination.
Final assessment of Elementary stage
Student has reached a standard of airmanship and attitude to continue training in this discipline.

ELEMENTARY PARAGLIDING PILOT COURSE IN TURKEY
Beginners paragliding course - Equipment provided - About 4 - 5 days
This is a complete course offering excellent value for Beginners.
Progressing through a series of exercises that start at the bottom of the hill and work up. First ground control, inflating the canopy, walking it along the ground steering left and right, a little like flying a large kite. Next, short hop flights just above the ground while maintaining directional control. Progressing up the hill in stages, from short hops to low level flights, straight at first then with some turns, then higher flights with controlled take offs, turns and spot landings. Training days do not have to be taken consecutively but must be taken within one year. This marks a recognised level of competence before Club Pilot and unsupervised flight, with some theory and a basic exam you now have Elementary Pilot.
